## The name

A gyre is a powerful circular current — a self-reinforcing system where rotation, wind, and physics combine to move enormous mass over enormous distance with very little visible effort. We picked the name because that's the operating model: data, technology, and insight compound across the group rather than being extracted point-in-time.
